Hello, my name is Dan Sawicki. Originally from Stillwater, MN, and living my whole life in the St Croix Valley area, I have been working in the local home construction and repair industry for my entire career- almost 40 years now. I provide a wide range of home handyman services; including repairs, installations, and maintenance. I take pride in providing efficient, high quality workmanship on every project I take on.
Whether it be your home, cabin, or business, I have the experience to get the job done right- the first time. I am a fully insured and licensed building contractor in MN and WI for over 30 years now. My service area includes the Twin Cities and Western Wisconsin.
This service is great for those odd jobs most contractors won't deal with. Give me a call for virtually anything you need done around your home or business. I can complete your projects- large and small- inside or out. Whether your replacing door knobs, painting, hanging a TV, repairing a roof leak, adding gutter screens, replacing a light fixture or outlet, changing out a sink or faucet, drywall repairs, installing a cabinet or door... really just about anything.
I am happy to provide your maintenance needs on your property that you just don't have the time, knowledge, or tools to get done yourself. This includes pressure washing, gutter cleaning, lawn care, light landscaping, snow removal from roofs and sidewalks, window cleaning, tree trimming, site clean up, or any other maintenance tasks with which you need assistance completing.
As a licensed contractor in MN and WI for over 30 years, I can also complete those larger projects you have been dreaming of. I have completed many projects such as new decks and porches, new garages and sheds, roof and siding replacement, room additions, bath and kitchen remodels, window and door replacement, basement finishing, stone veneer, all types of remodeling, and complete repair of storm damage. Handyman and Maintenance Services are done at an hourly labor rate plus any materials/supplies that I provide. Currently, the minimum labor charge is $125 - which includes up to the first hour of work (per man) plus the cost of any material/supplies that I provide. Each additional work hour is charged at the hourly labor rate of $80 per hour per man. Time charges are rounded up to the next half hour.
I am happy to retrieve materials that you are unable to have on site- just be aware that this time is added to the hourly rate total. For specific materials that I provide, it may be required for you to make payment for those materials prior to me acquiring the needed materials. I will work with you to determine the best way to have any needed materials on site.
Many projects just require some know-how, the right tools, and a few general supplies. I carry commonly used supplies... such as nails, screws, caulking, wire nuts, shims, drywall mud, etc... on my truck to have on hand if needed. This aids in more efficient completion of tasks and less headaches for the property owner.
Full payment is required upon the completion of your projects- or at the end of each day. I accept cash, check, or Venmo.
